“We are delighted to have Jack on board for the rest of the season. He’s made a big impact and has got better and better as he became increasingly familiar with how Marc wants us to play. We continually talk about making sure we are disciplined around the profile of player we have at the club and he absolutely fits with our strategy. Plus he’s a top fella and has exactly the kind of attitude that we want around the place.”

Since Jack’s arrival from Wycombe Wanderers in October, the midfielder has impressed in the middle of the park and become a mainstay in Marc White’s XI.

Jack’s first start at Meadowbank resulted in a brace versus Salisbury, with two equally impressive strikes in front of the Wanderers faithful. He has since gone on to record four more goals and assists.

Following his extension, Young stated:

“I’m really pleased to be back for the rest of the season, since I first joined the staff, players and fans have made me feel at home. I know we have what it takes to go all the way and get promoted and it’s something I’m determined to help make happen and be apart of bringing more success to the club.”
