Lewis has a vast amount of experience within the National League system as an attacking left-winger with Bromley, Wealdstone, Boreham Wood and most recently Woking. Totalling 225 appearances.
Starting his career with Watford 18’s & 23’s Dennon began his first stint with Woking in 2016 with a loan. His next phase saw him jump to local side Crawley Town as well as Scottish side Falkirk before signing with Bromley in 2019. Loans with Boreham Wood and Woking have recently seen him compete regularly in the league.
Upon signing for the Wanderers Dennon added:
“I am delighted to sign for this great club. I spoke to the gaffer on the phone, and he sold it to me straight away, which probably doesn’t come as a surprise. I have played here a few times, and you have some amazing fans for this league so I can’t wait to play in front of them again. There is only one goal in my mind and that is to get promoted.”
Manager, Marc White:
“We are really delighted with the signing of Dennon. We first came up against him when he was a part of Dean Brennan’s successful Wealdstone side in the National League South. He is a lightning quick, versatile player that can play on either wing.”
“This season we really handpicked our signings and Dennon is a perfect example of this. Due to a limited amount of wingers last season and due to the absence of Briggsy (which leaves us short of excitement) we see this as an opportunity to provide much needed depth on the wing. Furthermore, it will reduce the pressure on Jimmy to play so many minutes week in week out.
“Tactically we see Dennon as a play off the last man type winger that Wanderers fans love to see
“All 3 of our signings follow our metrics of being younger, playing higher levels and being a part of the future.”
