Marc White has further strengthened his side with the acquisition of midfielder Frank Vincent.

Vincent, who last season made 32 appearances for Woking and Dagenham & Redbridge, joins the Wanderers with a wealth of experience in the National League and League Two, having previously played for clubs such as Torquay, Scunthorpe, and Notts County.

A versatile player who can operate in midfield or at left-back, he provides valuable depth for the Wanderers in several positions ahead of the upcoming competitive league season.

Manager Marc White said:

“We identified the left-hand side of the pitch as a problem last season, often playing players out of position — notably Niall, who has played games in central midfield at a higher level, and Norville-Williams, who favours the left-back role.”

“Therefore, we wanted to find the right type of player to suit that need. As a left-footed player who can play left wing and has also spent much of his career in central midfield, Frank is a great fit.

“Frank is a fantastic guy, and he’ll bring great personality to the club. He’s only ever played in the National League and League Two, and having played under Luke Williams at Notts County, he’s well coached.”

“We really felt we needed to add a natural left-winger to the squad, and we’re delighted to welcome Frank — and his character — to the club.”

Frank added:

“I am excited to get started here at Dorking. I met the gaffer and got a really good feeling from him, he is honest and I like that from a Manager. I think my style of play will suit the Wanderers and I can’t wait to get on the pitch and play in front of the fans here.”
