After joining Wanderers at the U16 age group, Jasmine went on to enrol with the club’s post-16 education and football programme in September 2024 – studying a BTEC Level 3 Qualification in Sports Coaching alongside training and playing for the academy U19 Tactic League side and newly-formed Dorking Wanderers Women’s U23s, who compete in the Surrey Premier Division (Tier 7).

It would go on to be a very prolific season for Jasmine in front of goal – netting 58 goals in 29 appearances across both teams, who competed towards the top end of their respective league’s throughout 24/25, going on to both achieve 3rd placed finishes.

Jasmine’s outstanding season led to a move up the divisions in the summer by joining National League Division One (Tier 4) side Worthing FC. Scoring on both her pre-season and competitive debut for The Rebels, Jasmine and the team have a FA Cup 2nd Round tie away to AFC Porchester to look forward to after seeing off Maidenhead United and Abingdon United already in this year’s competition.

Incredibly proud of Jasmine’s journey so far and next chapter, Academy Director Jordan Clark says:

“Jasmine optimises what the academy programme is all about – she has applied herself brilliantly in all formats and has achieved an outstanding exit route through being open minded and embracing all aspects of the programme. Good luck Jas – we will miss your goals!”

Girls Academy Manager Ben Dyson adds the following:

We are incredibly proud of Jasmine and the progress she continues to make within our programme. Her work ethic, professionalism, and desire to keep improving have stood out throughout her time with us. Receiving and accepting an offer from Blackhawk Community College is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the standards she sets for herself.

Both on and off the pitch she has been brilliant, and although she will remain with us for the rest of the academic year, we are already excited to see her take this next step in America. Jasmine has been a fantastic role model within the academy, and we have no doubt she will thrive when she begins her scholarship at Blackhawk.

Last week we caught up with Jasmine to reflect on her journey so far, and look ahead to the next chapter out in the US:
