Digital Content Assistant:

Job Title: Digital Content Assistant (Placement / Intern)

Contract Type: Internship / Placement (Full-time)
Duration: June 2025 – May 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)

Role Overview:

We’re looking for an intelligent, hardworking, and creative individual to join our ambitious digital team as a Digital Content Assistant. This role is ideal for someone currently studying a relevant degree – or with strong experience in filming, editing, and content creation – who is looking to build their portfolio by working with one of the most innovative digital teams in professional football.

You’ll play a key role in producing, filming, and editing content for our social media channels, including both long-form and short-form formats, working closely with first-team players, coaches, and management on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, film, and edit entertaining short-form content for social media
  • Play an active role in producing long-form YouTube videos
  • Assist in producing high quality video content for club partners
  • Design graphics and digital assets using Photoshop (including thumbnails)
  • Assist in content planning, scheduling, and publishing across social media
  • Contribute to both reactive and pre-planned digital campaigns

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Proficient in filming and video editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut)
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Confident with camera work and understanding visual storytelling
  • Excellent grasp of social media platforms, digital trends, and maximising viewership
  • Creative mindset with a passion for planning and creating entertaining content
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:

  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Marketing, Production, or a related field
  • Experience producing content in a sports, YouTube, interview or events environment
  • Access to personal filming and editing equipment (e.g. camera, microphones, laptop, editing software) that can be used in the role if required.
