Dorking Wanderers are pleased to announce the loan signing of Joe Wright from Barnet FC.

Yesterday the club were informed, outside of their knowledge, that they had the option of exercising an emergency loan, acting quickly, we can confirm the short-term signing of Joe Wright from Barnet FC, effective immediately.

This option only became apparent to the club after the announcement of long-term Wanderers supporter Terry “Big Tel” Dunn (54), who had stepped in to help the team ahead of today’s fixture.

With Wright now joining as our ranks on a temporary basis, Terry will remain part of the Wanderers squad.

The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Terry for stepping forward with true Wanderers spirit and grit. Supporters will have the chance to meet him at Meadowbank this afternoon, where he will be in attendance.
