Biography

George joined Wanderers in February 2023 after leaving Crawley Town. Beginning his career in the Tottenham Hotspur youth ranks before moving on to the Norwich City academy at the age of 16. He made his debut for ‘The Canaries’ as an 18-year-old in the second round of the EFL Trophy against Gillingham during the 2009/10 season.

After loan spells at Barnet & Hibernian, he joined AFC Wimbledon in 2013 where he made nearly 200 appearances for ‘The Dons’ and featured in a side which won the League Two play-offs in 2016 alongside ex-Wanderers Barry Fuller and Callum Kennedy.

Now at the Wanderers following a short spell as captain of Crawley Town, the defender has spent nearly two and half years at Meadowbank and made over 75 appearances for the club.
