Biography

Academy graduate Jack Saunders joined the club’s post-16 education and football programme ahead of the 22/23 season after completing a year with Welling United’s academy.

Establishing himself as a key player across a number of central midfield positions in the Dorking Wanderers B and flagship National League Academy South team’s during his first year with the Wanderers academy, Jack signed a deal with the first team in the summer of 2023, going on to feature throughout pre-season before continuing to build his senior football experience on loan at Redhill FC in the Combined Counties Premier Division (Step 5) through the remainder of 23/24.

This development would continue further with Jack signing on loan for Danny Kedwell’s Ashford United the following year, playing regularly in the Isthmian South East Division (Step 4) alongside a team which included at fellow Wanderers loanees Barry Fuller and Luke Moore in the second half of the season.

Jack would make his first start for the Wanderers first team at the beginning of the 25-26 campaign in the National League South fixture away to Hemel Hempstead Town on August 23rd.
